Employers can follow the steps below to update the status:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click at My Sites and choose REGISTRATION.<\/li>\n<li>Then click UPDATE, choose Update Add Employee Resigned Date<\/li>\n<li>Click on Action icon<\/li>\n<li>If all employee resign on the same date: a. Click All b. Update Employee Resign Date Or If there are other active employees: a. Click Specific b. Update Employee Resign Date c. In Please Select box, choose employee\u2019s information according to IC Number \/ Employee\u2019s name \/ Social Security No (SSN) d. Click on the Action button<\/li>\n<li>Click Save &amp; Continue<\/li>\n<li>Upload the supporting documents<\/li>\n<li>Click Save &amp; Continue<\/li>\n<li>Click Submit<\/li>\n<li>Proceed for Submission? Click Confirm<\/li>\n<li>Request Case Update Number is generated (Kindly keep the number for reference)<\/li>\n<li>Click OK<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>It is important to note that <strong>PERKESO<\/strong> covers employees who are employed for wages paid under a contract of service or apprenticeship with an employer, whether the contract is expressed or implied, or oral or in writing, or in connection to the work of an industry to which the Act applies.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>6. Principal employers are responsible for all matters related to services and wage payments, while immediate employers hire employees to work under the supervision of the principal employer.<\/p>\n<p>Employers must register with and contribute to the <strong>Social Security Organisation (SOCSO)<\/strong> at the rates specified under the Employees&#8217; Social Security Act, 1969, which is administered by <strong>SOCSO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Principal employers are also responsible for ensuring that all workers employed by immediate employers are registered with <strong>SOCSO<\/strong> and that contributions are paid accordingly. Employers must report any work-related accidents that happen to their workers within 48 hours of notification.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PERKESO<\/strong> issues compound notices for offenses reported or identified. The recipient has 14 days to make full payment to avoid further actions.
